Business
We export about 86%
We saw our timber according to each customer’s preference – dimension, drying, planning, strength classification and quality. 60% of sawn timber is whitewood (white spruce), 40% is redwood (red pine).
Products sawn from whitewood are specifically dried to be used as lamina, and are exported to Japan and Europe. Strength classifications check, planning and exact cutting are done in the processing department. Products sawn from redwood are dried t for lamina use and for furniture.
Quality and Strength
We are the first sawmill company in Europe that was JAS certified (2003). We deliver products sawn in our JAS certified facilities that meet Japanese construction standard.
In addition, West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau (WCLIB) in the United States licensed us in 1999. This means that we are able to provide products according to American rules and measuring specifications that the West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau issued.
